Mark Murphy is a recognized promoter of art and experience in the United States and has worked with over 600 artists from around the globe. In 1991, Mark founded Murphy Design. After ten years, the firm migrated from the frozen lake of Cleveland/Ohio to the Pacific coast of sunny San Diego/California. Much happier, Mark is now focussed on art book design and publishing; gallery installations; and creative art promotion. Mark has designed and published books for Brandon Boyd (Incubus), Joe Sorren, the Clayton Brothers, Jeff Soto, Picture Mechanics and American Illustration in New York . Mark is the past Chair of American Illustration in NY and actively contributes to the US Illustration Conference (ICON). Excited to travel to New Zealand , Mark will share inspiration; graphics/art/film/design/typography/photography; story telling; high suspense drama (humor); personal techniques to identify future markets, and the promotion of your soul for the future as an innovative resource in New Zealand . Mark will also be bringing a limited quantity of his books and prizes to be awarded to the lucky few.
