Rex Turnball

Creative Director of Lino Magazine, Australia

Born in Taihape, I am Maori of Ngati Tuwharetoa and Ngati Kahungunu decent. As well as the Creative Director/Publisher of LINO magazine, I am a painter and illustrator.

My painting 'Last Puha before the Storm' has been travelling the country in a group exhibition of winners of the Fletcher and Kelliher Awards. This exhibition will continue to travel until this time next year. I believe it has already been to Wanganui.

I am a judge of the 2005 Australian Design Awards, the 2005 id Dunedin Australasian Emerging Fashion Designer Award, and the 2004 & 2005 Hokonui Fashion Awards.
